VINOS DE FINCA
ALTOS DE LOSADA
SELECCIÓN DE AÑADA
Red wine made from a selection of high-altitude plots in Bierzo, where ripening is slower and natural balance is achieved perfectly. It is only produced in exceptional vintages, when the grape expresses its full potential.
The prolonged post-fermentation and aging in large French oak fudres preserve finesse and depth, always respecting the elegance that characterizes Losada. The result is a profound and enveloping wine that reflects the altitude, calm, and purity of the Bierzo vineyard.

Tasting notes
It shows a broad and silky texture, with fine and ripe tannins. Elegant and complex nose: black fruit (plum, blackberry), flowers, aging wax, sweet woods and spices, licorice, leather, and a hint of coconut water; mineral undertone. Honest and tasty palate, with acidic structure, creamy tannin, a strong fruit presence, and a very long finish.
93 pts. James Suckling. Very fragrant, with black fruit, subtle pepper, and a hint of black olive. Medium to full-bodied, with fine-grained tannins that softly coat the mouth and tender black fruits.
